HER STORY

CURRENT: Victoria is a fashion designer and illustrator currently residing in Nashville, Tn.  After working in the fashion industry in New York City she relocated to Charlotte, NC to start her own brand Victoria Cullinan. She first made her mark designing custom womens-wear pieces for special events and social occasions.



EDUCATION: She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from Savannah College of Art and Design with a strong focus on textiles and painting. During her collegiate years she was honored with the YMA CFDA award for her business proposal and collection on sustainable fashion. She was also awarded with a Scholarship from Cotton INC. for her collaboration with Fibers major Jamie Bourgeois. Their innovative cotton design was showcased in Savannah Fashion Week.



EXPERIENCE: In New York, she had the opportunity to work with several different fashion companies both as a freelancer and as a designer.  those include Ralph Lauren, LF USA, Elizabeth and James, Calvin Klein Collection, and Rebecca Taylor. She had the privilege of working alongside the Calvin Klein Celebrity Atelier team assisting their designer in creating gowns for celebrities and high-profile clients for the met gala, cfda, and ck runway shows. She also worked a few seasons with the Calvin Klein Collection design team for their ready-to-wear runway collection. In her final years in New York, she worked as an assistant designer for both the head and senior designer at Rebecca Taylor.
